I love the smell of rain.

The smell of rain is the smell of old and new entwined.

It means that things will be growing soon, or washed away.

That is why I always have an umbrella with me--so that when the rainclouds decide to surprise us with a downpour, it won't be unpleasant. It would be a treat instead.:-)
